Scrap With Templates

August 5, 2008

Scrap With Templates is a shop where you will find products to help you make fabulous digital scrapbook pages. Most of the products are templates, such as layered templates for making scrapbook layouts or clipping masks that you just clip your own photos into. If you are new to layered templates they provide a tutorial that inlcudes screen shots on how to use them.

Right now the site is celebrating its Grand Opening and all products are 50% off!  And if you sign up for their newsletter you will receive a free bragbook template set.  All templates are Scrap-for-hire friendly and commercial use is also permitted.

Father’s Day Gift Idea

May 28, 2008

Father’s day is only a couple of weeks away, but there is still time to create a personalized photo book for dad, grandpa or a favorite uncle. Here are a few themes to spark your creativity:

  • Children/grandchildren
  • Hobbies
  • Vacations
  • Family History

My father-in-law tells me that the 5×3.25 mini brag books from Viovio fit perfectly in a man’s shirt pocket which is “very handy for showing off grandchildren because men don’t carry purses.” These little books come in multi-packs and there are also square mini books available too!

If you are looking for something a little larger, Viovio offers over a dozen different book sizes, all at a very affordable price!

Here are a couple of pictures of the mini brag book I made for last Father’s day:

Single page printing now available at Viovio!

May 2, 2008

Raleigh, NC (May 2008)- Viovio, an on-line community and creative photo book publishing service, in celebration of National Scrapbooking Day, introduced an unbound book option today, in conjunction with their new 12×12 photo book.

The latest addition to Viovio’s expanding menu of print-on-demand products is the direct result of customer input. “At Viovio we strive to accommodate to our customers’ needs,” commented Connie Fowler, Co-Founder of Viovio, “and customers have indicated they want the option to print loose pages in a 12×12” size for a variety of reasons, including for use in hybrid scrapping.”

The same digital silk quality pages available in the 12×12 bound books are now available loose at the low price of $.75 per page. The double-sided minimum page count is 24. For customers that prefer single-sided printing for their pages the fee is only an additional 15%. With single-sided printing the minimum page count is 12.

To order loose pages simply create a gallery, upload your pages, and click the “order photo book” icon engaging the bookmaker process. Check the box to have the cover image printed inside the book, accept the default cover info and move to the purchase page. “Unbound book” is the last selection from the drop down menu.
